Old Diner in Juliusruh

Despite telephone reservations through the hotel we did not get a table, the waitress was very unfriendly and could not clarify the problem, although enough tables were unoccupied, we were not offered a solution. Restaurant is not recommended.

The food is outstandingly tasty and really good for the price. Since we booked breakfast in the hotel, we can have it in the diner in the morning. And it is one of the best breakfast buffets from which I was allowed to have breakfast. Many thanks

The ambience in the Old Diner is great, but the sometimes unfriendly service breaks it down. Children are probably not welcomed and when a glass tipped over we were given napkins instead of the rag we asked for. We didn't get a new drink either. The food was okay, but nothing more.

A very nice diner furnished with attention to detail. The food is very good and the combinations are also interesting. Unfortunately, the mood was very stiff and didn't match the ambience of the place. The staff was very polite but very silent. The music was very, very quiet radio. In an old diner you also expect suitable music.

An effort was made to create an atmosphere that lives up to the name. The citizens were delicious.

Friendly staff and the food (we had burgers and fries) were good. I would only have liked to have asked how I would like my burger. He was through well, whoever likes that would have nothing to complain about.

Since there was no more space in another restaurant, we went to the "Old Diner" and were more than positively surprised. Cool ambience, interesting menu and nice staff. The first impression was great and so was the food. Even after our second visit, we were happy to have ended up in this restaurant. By the way: dog owners are welcome.

Of the four people in our family, three were satisfied: normal island prices, one was not enough, the other had a large portion, my fish was just right. The fourth was dissatisfied with her burger, it was too dry. All in all a decent price-performance offer. I can recommend it.

It was delicious. Even if I expect a little more for the price. I wanted my Chateaubriand in English, but when the kernel is still cold, like in the refrigerator, I wonder if the kitchen has no kernometer. A tip for everyone who wants to sit outside in the evening hours: pack mosquito repellant, otherwise you will experience hell.

Very inflexible. They send everyone away who doesn't have a reservation even though they clearly don't have all tables reserved for the whole evening. They say waiting is not an option either.

The selection on the menu was a little too little for me, therefore 1 star deduction but the food was very tasty could have been a little more seasoned but still very delicious. To recommend.

The food here wasn't really good. We expected a lot from the pictures but in the end the quality wasn't really good. The burger was dry and looked like molded meat out of the package, but the icing on the cake was fries which are better in any outdoor pool. All of this in the end for 16.50 is just plain bold. The ribs were just about right, but the barbecue sauce with it tasted like pure chemistry. The ambience in the main room is very chic, but unfortunately we sat in the next room, which wasn't really a restaurant. Is too expensive for too little performance.

The Old Diner is a good substitute for the local fast food chains! The location is pleasing, but the quality and the quantity in relation to the price leave a lot to be desired.

Really great diner. Efforts were made to bring the theme of the diner into the local area. That worked out quite well. The atmosphere was really great! The service was friendly and quick :) about the food I can only say ...: absolute noble burger. We had the Bacon and Puöled Port Burger. Every € worth !!!! Incredibly good, even if the bread and chips or curly fries only come from the wholesaler, the best was made of them. You can definitely eat well here!

Bürger was really good and very large portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. We sat at a table without an umbrella and when it started to rain we were offered a free table under an umbrella and disinfected.

Very tasty, highly recommended. Friendly service, everything was great. Only the common meat could be a little more seasoned. But will definitely come again.

Sometimes the service is unfriendly and condescending, the meat is fart-dry and tastes like air and it was too much of a good thing. Instead of a salad I felt 100 cucumber slices on the burger and the sauce tasted like nothing. The cheese was only 1% present. Another big point of criticism is the non-existent drinks menu, but with the prices it's no wonder why you don't want to show them. Fries were good :)

Nice ambience. Good and tasty food. Prepared quickly and good service. Team is young and committed, which you can tell. I can recommend it to others. Price and performance are right.

Nice place. Comfortable to linger. Operation is flawless. I chose the Big Fish Pot. It is a fish soup with fresh vegetables (pieces of fish, carrots, potatoes and leeks) in a medium-sized terrine. Very good taste. A green shell and a red crayfish were included. At least the latter was definitely nice for the look. I couldn't get through to the full score, since a price of more than 10 euros (in this case 11.50 euros) is a bit too high.

Because of the sign on the main street, we became aware of this fine restaurant. Despite not making a reservation, we were given a table. Here, too, the friendly service staff ensure that the hygiene measures are dealt with professionally. We liked the menu in the form of paper place mats. Hygienic and always available at the table. The food came very quickly after ordering and was able to convince us in terms of taste. The quality and aesthetics of the food were reasonable for the price. We also see the prices of the menu as reasonable compared to other diner restaurants / steakhouses. The change of an insert was implemented without problems and at no extra charge. We can highly recommend a visit. Thank you very much - we would love to come back!

At around 6 p.m. we were the first and only guests in the restaurant. Nevertheless they were very pleased and tried hard to serve us. The food came quickly and was very neatly prepared. In winter you can be happy to find a restaurant here that is still open. As everywhere here on the island, the prices are quite conscious and the range is manageable. For just in between, I can definitely recommend the "Old Diner" ...

We stayed at the Hotel Atrium and ate at their restaurant, Old Diner. The restaurant is so blessed with having a very good chef. They offer everyday different dinner menu for the hotel guests and the taste was absolutely super delicious. The mix of spices were out of this world. I also love the interior design being an "Old Diner" with hanging old cars and motorcycles
